Sing in the Park 2024
Going for a Song (gfas) are organising Sing in the Park for the end of term one 2024.
When: 3:30pm on Saturday 23rd of March 2024
Where: Dorrington Park, Ashgrove. We will meet at the Northern Suburbs Hockey Club on the West Side of the park (near the intersection of Moola Rd and Mirrabooka Rd).
Plan: Each choir brings 1-2 short pieces to sing with each other (1 piece is completely fine.) and then each Music Director will lead all choirs en masse in learning a short piece to sing together.
Parking: There is a carpark nearby as well as plenty of street parking if needed.
After Party: GfaS will organise a place for everyone to have dinner and drinks after our sing which will be booked for 5pm. We will update you on the details.
To bring: Music Folders, Chairs (if you'd like to sit) Umbrellas/Hats/Sunscreen and your lovely selves 😊
Rain: If it looks like rain then GfaS will hire out a Communify venue large enough to accommodate us (we would ask that all choirs be prepared to give a small donation if we would need to use the hall).
